The 12 Days of Christmas - Rachel Frances

Hi Lovelies, I’m Rachel Frances and I am the only Blondie in the Belle Gang.

I love Sewing, Designing, Disney Princesses, Old Hollywood and all things that include Vintage Loveliness.

 I like to share my Outfits, Hair, Make up, My Costume Designs, My Sewing Creations and just Everything that interests me on my Instagram. I am from the North West of the UK and study Costume with Textiles at University. Currently on a placement year where I am working in the industry meeting lots of new people and having  fabulous time!

Recently having designed a range of sewing patterns for Eliza M Vintage Sewing which are all based on classic 1950's silhouettes. They will help all the lovely vintage and sewing enthusiasts who want to create there own vintage styled wardrobe, 

 

My pin up journey began in 2011 where I started wearing vintage hairstyles, then I moved onto creating my own clothes using my Grandmothers old sewing patterns from the 1950/60's. Finding great vintage reproduction clothing brands and finding vintage goodies in charity/vintage shops to start to create my mid century wardrobe. Over the years I have grown into my look and learning what works and is best for me, I have never been more happy and confident. My style makes me who I am and I believe without it I wouldn't be the woman I have become today. 

Yay its nearly Christmas, as my favourite time of the year I am always super organised.

My Christmas shopping is always done and wrapped weeks in advance of the day. What I love the most about Christmas is being with all my friends and family and and everybody coming together having a great time, laughing and being merry. 

On my Christmas wishlist would be Shoes!! Such as these beauty's from Miss L Fire.

 

I would also love this amazing sarong dress from Vivien of Holloway 

And just anything from Pin Up Girl Clothing as its all amazing <3 

I adore Christmas crafting and sewing and I believe that handmade gifts and presents are great to receive and to make as they are purse friendly. I found this great idea on Pintrest and thought I would share as I think it will make a great present for someone or even just to keep and use a decoration fro yourself. It looks really simple and you could make in any ribbon and not just Christmas ribbon.
