There's no mistaking it, baby belles: summer is coming. Admittedly, it's a British summer, so we can never quite be sure that it will involve a dramatic temperature spike, a lack of rain, or even that much sun, but if there's one thing we Brits know how to do it's to be truly optimistic about any it's-not-tipping-it-down weather we are blessed with.
All it takes is a lack of clouds and some shining sun, even without an accompanying rise in temperature, and the lads are almost always ready to whip off their shirts, whack on some shorts and get out the garden barbecues. And what does it mean for us pinup girls? Summer dresses, cropped tops and capris, and, of course, a smokin' retro swuimsuit.

It's a great thing that the high street stores and supermarkets are taking note that plenty of women love high waisted and retro inspired options for their swimwear choices, and I've already added at least 4 of these pieces to my own wishlist.
