Hello lovelies! It's not long until our Pinup Picnic in the Park, so it's about time we give you the full low down on the where, when, what and how so that you don't miss out on a single detail.
Our Pinup Picnic in the Park is a fun public meet up we British Belles are hosting 27th June in London's Hyde Park. It's a day for hanging out with friends, meeting new pinups, eating picnicy goodness, and getting to finally match up real life lovelies to the Instagram profiles you may already be following online. Below we've listed all the nitty gritty details of the day, and below that you can find everything you need to know about our charity raffle.
The Details
When: 27th June 2015 11am-5pm [Here's the Facebook Event Page to RSVP]
Where: Hyde Park, London (W2 2UH)
How much does it cost: Nothing, it's free!
What is it: A large scale picnic. Come if you want to enjoy a chilled, fun day with like-minded lovelies who share your passion for all things vintage and retro (and probably cake!)
Who's going: Unfortunately not all of the Belles are able to make it, but expect to see Amy @miss_amy_may, Sophie @missfifivonfosse, Amber @amberrosetheron, Alice @callthestudentnurse, Olive @infirmaryblues, Lizzy @Loulouudoll and Charlotte @misspeachykeen_jellybean
How to find us: Hyde Park is big, so we Belles will be waiting at the Marble Arch at 11 to meet and usher over anyone who wants to arrive first thing. For those who don't know, the Marble Arch is right near the Marble Arch underground tube station and looks like this:
Once settled in the Park we'll tweet, Facebook and Instagram our location specifically for anyone who isn't sure how to find us, so make sure you're following those social media accounts. Don't panic: while the park is large, we're certain you'll be able to spot us as we're pretty sure we will be the only giant-sized picnic mass full of ladies who look like they have time traveled from the 50s.
What to bring:
Food & drink: We can't provide food and drink for the hundreds of people who have already RSVP'd as coming, so please bring whatever nourishment and refreshments you'll need for the length of time you intend to stay at the event.
Sun protection: While we can never be sure what the English weather will do, we don't want to see any of you little lovelies suffering with sunburn so please remember to bring your SPF, sunglasses and possibly an incredibly glamorous sunhat. If you're incredibly fancy feel free to bring a glamorous retro sun parasol.
Picnic Blanket
Your camera/camera phone. You'll want to be snapping pictures and selfies with all the babes you'll be meeting on the day, so don't forget to document it. If you post pictures to Instagram, use our hashtag #PinupPicnicInThePark
Best Dressed Contest
Our lovely sponsor Audrey Star's Boutique will be be hosting and judging a Best Dressed contest and supplying a kick-ass £50 Audrey Star's Boutique voucher for the winner. So dress in your cutest picnicking pinup outfit to be in with a chance of clinching the crown and the voucher.

But in the spirit of raising even more money for Macmillan we've opened up the raffle to ALL OF THE UK! Unfortunately at this time we are unable to open the raffle to international entries however rest assured that we will be hosting a Summer Giveaway that will be open to everyone!
The deadline for buying your tickets for the raffle is Wednesday 24th June at midnight, so get your entries in before then. Tickets are £1 each, you can enter as many times as you like, and you can enter in either of the ways listed below, just please make sure to read the entry terms fully to make sure your entry counts.
Just Giving EntriesYou can buy entries to the raffle on our Just Giving page. We are asking for you to kindly donate £1 per entry, however we realise that the lowest can donate on Just Giving is £2- so you will automatically get 2 entries unless you want to chip in with a friend! Please also remember to leave your Name along with your Instagram /Twitter/Facebook or Blog when donating, so we know how to contact you!
Text Entries
You can also enter by texting your donation. Text PCNC55 £1 to 70070 to donate a £1 ticket entry. Each text counts as one £1 entry, so you could donate as much as you like (e.g £2, £5, £10) but remember to screenshot your entries so we can assign your entries to you, as the text donations are otherwise anonymous. It's very important you remember to send us your screenshots so your entries get entered correctly. You can send us your screenshots by private messaging us on our Facebook page (facebook.com/thebritishbelles) emailing it to thebritbelles@hotmail.com or direct messaging us on Instagram to our @thebritishbelles account.

We can't wait to see you all!
